Scribbly Gum, Ku-ring-gai Chase

Scribbly Gum, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

During a walk in Ku-ring-gai Chase National, just north of Sydney, I came across this fine specimen of scribbly gum. The markings on its bark are made by larvae that grows and burrows under the bark before turning into a moth. Insect graffiti? Not bad!
